AutoCorrect Japes!
No posts for an age so might as well put this here…
- Work in a office? check.
- Collegues computers unlocked for short periods? check.
- Bored? check.
When your target has left their desk with their computer unlocked, preferrably with Word or Outlook open I urge you to perform the following misconduct altering the Autocorrect entries to automatically replace the word of your choice with a mischievous replacement.
Open Word or activate it if it’s already open, then select Tools > AutoCorrect options.

Then as shown, enter your chosen words. I chose Regards as then you will almost always score a direct hit on outgoing Emails.
Click Add and then close Word or return the screen to its previous state and retire to your own desk.
I sucessfully implemented this at work swapping Regards with Cheesecake. The target sent several external Emails before noticing.
Another potential winner is to replace the full stop ‘. ‘ with a space followed by a word followed by a full stop for example ’ squid .‘
This then appends every sentence with squid which can make for interestring reading although the chances or it going unnoticed until the end of an Email is much reduced.
There is also some value in “sleeper” words. Rarely used nuggets waiting like time bombs in the background.
e.g. Replace
’thank’ with ‘wank’,
‘eyes’ with ‘peepers’
‘Christmas’ with ‘I have a welt on my nutbag’
Enjoy.
